The maternity ward were fantastic, the staff, nurses and doctors on call were helpful and very reassuring. I would recommend the St Helier maternity ward to anyone and have recommended it.

Regarding the post natal ward the service there was a complete opposite. My girl friend was left to her own devices having just had a C section. She was left with my daughter for about 3 hours without any nurses checking on her. She was still numb from the operation and could not move to get help. They did not give her an injection to stop her blood clotting and we were only notified that she was meant to have this injection 4 days later as we were leaving the hospital.

The midwife was fantastic and she was the one that notified us of the injection.
