About: Cannock Chase Hospital New Cross Hospital Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Firstly having returned last year after 5 years away, I have no idea what TRAQS is all about.

I have recently attended New Cross hospital Wolverhampton and Cannock Chase Hospital. Each time I get an appointment through TRAQS which was confirmed or changed by the hospital concerned.

My treatment was good and efficient. I have no comments with regards to treatment as it is ongoing.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to TRAQS following your recent referral.

I am sorrry that you were not informed of who TRAQS are.

TRAQS is a very new service and began in June 2012. All GP practices have been provided with Patient leaflets explaining what TRAQS is and how it works for the patients. Each patient being referred by their GP through TRAQS should be given a TRAQS leaflet so that they're aware that we will be contacting them to discuss/book an appointment. I am sorry that you do not appear to have been given one as this would have explained what TRAQS is and what we do.

I am sorry that your appointments have been changed by the hospital. This could be for a number of reasons but the main reasons are that either the consultant who is due to take the clinic is not able to attend for some reason or that it may be more appropriate for you to be seen by a different consultant.

It is good to hear that you are happy with the treatment you have received so far.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with feedback, we appreciate all feedback as it is used to help us to develop the TRAQS service further for the benefit of patients.
