About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

The care I receive from I arrived from the day surgery unit of the New Victoria was excellent. The nurse who was in charge of my care (sorry I can only remember her first name as claire) was so lovely. She explained everything to me and was there when I came back from the theatre. She also came round to ward 3 with me to settle me for my overnight stay.

Dr Bjornsen also came to introduce himself before the surgery and again afterwards to give me an update.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the anaesthetist, but again introduced and explained what would happen.

I also must mention the staff on ward 3. They were nice and nothing was too much trouble for them to help you with. overall great experience from the New Victoria.
