Anything else?
I cannot thank everybody enough that I came across during my visit to the Endoscopy unit. I was of Corse extremely nervous after doing the awful thing of reading peoples reviews about the procedures on the internet. As soon I was taken through, I was guided in to a room by a lovely Nurse who advised me what was going to happen and answered all my queries clearly and efficiently. All the Nurses that I then met on the waiting ward were fantastic! I was asked how I was feeling by all of them. The Doctor who carried out the tests and all the staff during the procedures was supportive, kind and very calming. I did get upset during one part; however I was comforted by a lovely lady. When I returned to the waiting ward, I was treated most kindly by everyone. These are people who are carrying out a vocation rather than a job. I felt they wanted to help and care. They made sure my Father who was escorting me was kept informed and was there to collect me when necessary. The NHS can sometimes get really bad reviews, all the staff treated me with more respect then I could have asked for. You have given me confidence in the health system. I cannot thank you enough and I really hope you get to read this feedback if so thanks for my cup of tea and biscuits they were perfect!
"A credit to the NHS!"
