Anything else?
Ambulance staff were wonderful after a fall had left me with a broken leg. I felt confident that they were doing all that they could for me. I was well looked after in the Ambulance too. On arrival at Torbay I was treated quickly and efficiently by very kind and understanding staff. Everywhere was very clean. Xrays were done quickly though the staff member in the xray dept. seemed quite disinterested in me and I was disappointed that they were chewing gum and did not exchange one word with me other than to ask me to move my leg into the most painful positions. However, it was 1.00am but still sloppy practice. A kind word wouldn't have gone amiss.
Other than the xray department I had good experience with a quick turnaround. Staff were calm and helpful. It was the first time I had ever been in an A&E and I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you. Was nice to be greeted with a smile (other than the xray dept)
"Efficient and satisfactory"
