I was admitted to Ward 15 at Wansbeck for a colonoscopy under anaesthetic on 09/01/13 and every single member of staff I met treated me with courtesy, respect and kindness. They were meticulous in their cars of me with every step being explained and I was frequently asked if I had any needs and/or questions. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, despite the staff being obviously very busy and there was a ready smile from all. I also noticed that one of the nurses spent considerable time with another patient in my room who was obviously very distressed. Overall I was extremely impressed.
