I suffered chest pains into my left arm and difficulty breathing one am this week ,after visiting my GP in Milton Keynes she advised I immediately went to hospital,as I had a previous heart attack in2003,she wanted to call an ambulance,I refused as I had bad experiences at m.k.g.h. And took the risk to go to your hosp ,at Horton,my son drove me to AE.and fortunately I was seen immediately.After several tests and being so well looked after,the staff were all outstanding I was lucky to be told on this occasion all was neg.The follow up care ,ie letters to make asking me to make appt with my GP to discuss treatment tests given at AE etc have already Been sent to me.The efficiency at the time of my apps booked or emergency are always second to none,all staff in all areas,included admin cannot do enough to help you.I think it speaks volumes to say I would rather travel to Horton (even in a potentially life threatening situation) than visit my local hospital.
