"visitors to wards"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Anything else?

When my husband was a patient in Sandwich Bay the staff could not have been nicer to him or me. My one criticism is the fact that despite visiting being from 3-8 there was no control over times or numbers of visitors at a bed. 6-8 people round a bed of a sick, tired and stressed man did not help to make his last days very pleasant

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback and will ensure staff on Sandwich Bay ward are aware of the feedback you have provided. We are always pleased to see when staff have provided care with kindness and compassion.

I note your concerns about visiting times and the number of visitors by each bed. I will raise this as a discussion point with our ward managers and matrons.
