As opposed to Sunderland Royal Hospital in Chester Road, I warn people to keep away from Sunderland Royal Hospital.The appalling treatment (Sept. 2012 ) I received from their A&E department was nothing short of - unfeeling, heartless, insensible, indifferent, cold, callous,and cruel. Be warned if the Royal Hospital treated me this way, the law of averages dictate they will treat others similarly,

Diametrically opposed was, Sunderland Eye Infirmary. An operation was carried on both of my eyes last December (2012). Words cannot convey my gratitude to the Eye Infirmary. The Consultant was the most unpretentious person of a high standing position I've met in a long time. The supporting staff were professional and caring. From the bottom of my heart. thank you Sunderland Eye Infirmary.
