"Lack of information about my follow up appointment"

I received the follow up gynaecology appointment in the post. No information was included on what would happen at this appointment. I was seen by a different doctor who seemed less sympathetic.

I had not gone practically prepared for the procedure that I needed, because of lack of information. Fortunately my husband had driven me to the hospital as I would have been unable to drive after this procedure.

In the past, at other hospitals, I have received information leaflets on the procedure to be carried out at an appointment and been advised on what to take with me. This is always useful.
