"Exceptional care and support from our daughter's physio throughout her treatment"

Physiotherapy (Jill Brown) was the first service to become involved regularly in our lives following concerns raised by a paediatric consultant regarding the severe developmental delay of our young daughter. We were anxious, frightened, even angry, in those early days and Jill totally took all of that on board as she began her work with our daughter. She listened sympathetically as we explained our concerns and she signposted who to speak to, where relevant, all whilst doing her weekly physio with our daughter. Since those early days, and now that we are more accustomed to the situation, Jill has continued to provide exceptional, professional physio services, being frank but sensitive about her professional concerns, and explaining the various referrals she has made in relation to getting further opinions and specialist equipment. She also remains my first port of call for any concerns I have about our little girl's progress, providing a sympathetic ear and suggesting who I might want to contact regarding my concerns. She is so much more than just our daughter's physio!

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your feedback. Due to a technical issue, I was not alerted to your story and only became aware of it yesterday.

Many thanks for your feedback about the care your daughter received from our Physiotherapist Jill Brown and is stiil continuing. I genuinely hope that your little girl's health gets better and that we continue to provide and excellent service to your daughter and to all our patients.

We are constantly striving to improve our services for our patients, your feedback is therefore very important to us as it helps us identify areas that we need to improve on but also highlights the good work that is going on in the Trust. I will make sure that your story is shared with Jill Brown and the Manager of the Service. This is such a powerful tool as it not only helps us to improve patient experience but also motivates staff and gives them a sense of recognition to do well.
