"Lack of support from early pregnancy unit"

About: Amicus Health Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Maternity

(as the patient),

After a period of 2 years, suffering from sub fertility issues, we conceived and unfortunately had a miscarriage.

5 months later we successfully conceived again, we visited our GP who was nothing short of fantastic, with factual information and support, he recommended due to our history, we should go for a appointment at the Early pregnancy assessment unit to have a preliminary scan, however we where refused point blank by the unit due to budget restraints and not fitting the criteria.

The emotional strain on both of us with worry was unbearable, this small thing could have put our mind at rest and made our 1st trimester enjoyable as opposed to being filled with worry.
