I want to share a good story about LHC. The new appointment system works much better than in the past and I have not had any trouble getting to see a doctor since it was introduced. Also, last week I took my daughter to see a locum doctor (sorry I can't remember his name) about an ongoing skin condition she has had for a number of years now. He was absolutely brilliant - and knew what he was talking about without looking it up in a book - and she came away with a prescription. The same doctor then phoned her back this week to see how she was getting on and if she was seeing any difference yet - happily she is. Wonderful service - pity he is a locum and not employed full-time by NHS Shetland.
