"Efficient referral and appointment booking with TRAQS"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

My glasses fell apart, so I went for an eye test. The optician wanted a second opinion as my eyes adapted to light differently. She explained that she would write to my GP and ask for a referral. The next thing I know was the call from TRAQS setting up an appointment. I thought this most efficient. Unfortunately I had to amend this date and time but this was quite straightforward.

We believe that the new process will work well for patients and allow them to be seen as soon as possible at a hospital of their Choice. We always offer patients the first available appointment and if the patient wishes to be seen at a specific hospital this is easily dealt with too.

I am really pleased that although you found you had to rearrange your appointment date you found this to be an easy process.
