What I liked
Mr care began at A&E before being moved to the CDU. I can't speak more more highly of the staff, from the nurses and consultants to the domestics everyone works on this ward in highly pressurised circumstances. Despite receiving so many different types of requests the staff try their best to make every patient comfortable. After this I went to a ward for a few days where all of the nurses were very caring and thorough. The food always came on time and there was a balance of healthy foodchoices.
What could be improved
With it being the festive period the team were under extreme pressures with double the normal amount of patients, even for this time of year. Sometimes this involved longer waiting times but that is to be expected. All my doctors had excellent knowledge about my illness so I was always made to feel at ease.
