What I liked

The midwives and staff on Foxglove ward were great, always happy to help and friendly, despite the ward being busy.

What could be improved

The food definitely needs improving and this is my only grumble. The lady serving food on the ward stared at me with a blank, lost look when I asked for wholemeal toast instead of white and went on to tell me she didn't have any, I'd have to wait. The fruit all seemed to be tinned in syrup, something else I found disappointing after my previous stay three years before with my eldest son. .
