What I liked

I am working in the Orthopaedic department of Chorley hospital. I developed chest pain one moring while at work. I was admitted to the CCU from the emergency department suffering from a heart attack. I was looked after by the staff in CCU with utmost respect and care. The nursing staff was ever so courteous and pleasant. The doctors were very efficient and friendly. I am specially thankful to one doctor for his professionalism. He saw me in the unit and made an important decision to refer me to Blackpool for cardiac angiography. I needed the triple bypass surgery which was carried out in september 2012. I am now making a good recovery. I saw another doctor in December and once again I found him very helpfull and friendly. He was very pleased that I received the needed treatment in Blackpool. I am very thankfull to all the nursing staff who took care of me and reassured me during my stay in the CCU. They were always there when needed. They approached the patients with pleasant smiles and caring attitude. They are completely dedicated to their job and they enjoy it. My best wishes to all of them. I hope they will continue to care for the patients in years to come. It is due to such professional and caring staff that the rest of world envy the NHS.
