"horrific maternity experience - never go to NWP to..."

What I liked

to get the hell out of that place. NWP should be made back into the beautiful park it must've been before this sadness of a hospital was built.

What could be improved

everything - some midwives were exemplary..others need to stop working as midwives altogether as clearly this is not their forte. Rude, inconsiderate, brain-washed completely and uncaring of a mother's decision to stop breast feeding due to ill health. Consultants need to go back to school or take a different career path.

Get your antenatal u/s staff to write notes clearly so mums dont need to rely on verbal conversations being pushed aside by specialist midwives - you know who you are.. Communication people!! Also if a mum says "..but the u/s lady/man said..." would you be professional enough to get off your backside, walk 2 steps down the corridor and verbally consult with them and not fob off the poor mum who's clearly worried sick by saying "well it's not in their notes so this is irrelevant"

Not all specialist midwives there were awful - one in particular was brilliant. Shame I only have swear words for the other one/s...

Anything else?

never have I been treated so badly or unprofessionally in my life.. where do I start?? Maternity was a nightmare - freezing rooms, staff who mistake you for other patients (v dangerous mistakes to make)
