The Consultant who was treating me was arrogant and dismissive. They failed to offer me the correct investigative procedure to eastablish as to whether or not I had womb cancer.

They admitted that they had not even viewed my ultrasound images despite having had 4 weeks to do so. I insisted that he or someone else must view them immediately they stated that they were due to go on their two week holiday and that they would only view them on their return. They also refused for my images to be viewed by another surgeon on the grounds that they had not seen them themselves first. They said that if I didn't like their opinion I should go else where and seek a second opinion. This consultant shouold not be allowed to continue trearting women with potential Gynea Cancers. I can confirm i did get a second opinion at the Marsden in London within 5 days and was treated with the most amazing care. They were shocked at the Yeovil Consultants behaviour. I had emergencey investigation organiised by the Marsden due to the failure of the Consultant at Yeovil. A complaint is being put to the GMC regarding the Consultant at yeovil.
