"Thanks to all staff on B1 at Rotherham District General "

About: Rotherham Hospital

(as a relative),

When my husband was admitted to the Rotherham District General A&E in September 2007, it was a very busy day. He could not be given a bed right away as they were all full on B1. However, I have nothing but praise for the whole team - they made him as comfortable as possible, did all the paperwork, stats, x-rays, etc. so that when a bed was available, everything was already done. We would like to thank all staff on B1 as we feel they have a particularly difficult job.

Response from Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion. B1 is our admitting ward and due to its nature is often busy; it is reassuring to learn that your experience was a good one and that the staff involved in your husbands care did as much as they could to help.
