My sister is in Sunderland Royal for the last 6 weeks, still in bed never moved out of the same bed.
She was moved from South Tyneside to Sunderland with a foot problem (she is a diabetic). The foot still isn't totally healed yet, but they found out just over a week ago she had to be moved to the renal ward as she has excess fluid in her body (which she noticed a few weeks ago) and only got investigated later on not sooner.
My sister has had high potassium and is a diabetic and I am having to bring food in. She is still waiting for the dietician to give her a list! She's not eating the hospital meals as she can't eat it.
