"Ambulance gave option St Hellier or Mayday, guess..."

About: St Helier Hospital

What I liked

The nurses really tried their best, but were badly let down by a bunch of doctors.

What could be improved

The doctors were absolutely dreadfull at communicating with patients and nurses alike.

They seem to spend more time 'chatting' with each other about anything that doesnt relate to their patients.

Anything else?

People dont mind waiting around as long as they are 'kept informed' with why. There is nothing worse than being told 'I will see you / discharge you etc in a minute' only to be left waiting for over 2 hours - then having to chase the person yourself via the nursing staff, only to find that 'sorry we cant locate them / they are not answering their pager etc'

I came so close to dis-charhing myself againt doctors orders because of this.

Staff had trouble even keeping notes safe, so many times I heard 'I cant find this persons notes'
