What I liked

Right from entering the ward I was greeted with consideration and care, the staff were very welcoming and professional with clear instructions and reassuring information on the procedure, At my age 84 I felt a little aprehensive about the actual surgery. the theatre staff and the surgeon were very reassuring, and the actual operation was to my amazment completly painless. wheeled back to the recovery area to be greeted by how about a nice cup of tea and what sort of sandwich would you like, three cheers for the NHS and five gold stars to the Asford eye team,

By the way I was a little concernd the next day when my eye was still fixed and dilated, one telephone call to the eye hospital confirmed that this was not unusual and if it did not improve to come in to the clinic, now after onl y 8 days I am blessed with the most wonderfull gift of all as an artist as perfect sight as I have ever had,

What could be improved

I think the team provided more than can be reasonably expected in a very busy environment
