What I liked

I was admitted to Easton ward where I received the best of patient care from all of the nurses on duty that day and evening. Not to forget the anesthetists and surgeons who did a fantastic job for me later on that night when I had some minor surgery to cut out the abscess. Given the fact that I was away from my wife and family, everyone treated great!

I just wanted to let you know how much I thought of your fantastic staff at Norfolk Norwich Hospital and would like you to pass on my thanks and appreciation to them all please.

I am never ill and am never in hospital but yesterday proved things can and often do go wrong with the body unexpectedly. We are always hearing all the bad things about the NHS but does anybody ever stop to take a look at the great job that they are doing day in, day out? Not many folk im sure.

I for one appreciated your hospital accommodating me and sending me home on my road to recovery. So thank you and could you please thank your staff on both me and my family's behalf.

All staff deserve a wee pat on the back for all their hard work. Yes its their job, and yes they do it well and never complain but are they being praised enough?

I would like to think that we all respond well to praise and feedback. The ward that I was admitted to was a very busy with the nurses and doctors constantly on the go and the odd bit of thanks passed down along the line certainly goes a long way.
