What I liked

Having visited this afternoon with my son who had damage to his hand from hockey-ball impact, I was very impressed by the speed of handling, the friendly and involving staff, and the underpinning systems to allow us to 'know the score' by X-ray so clearly and promptly.

Anything else?

While I am delighted to give feedback particularly where (as in this case) it is positive I am not encouraged by or happy about:

1. Seemingly my 'private' correspondence with the hospital being necessarily 'published' openly, with no alternative offered; and -

2. the drop-down boxes above seeming to 'force' ratings of various aspects, on some of which my preference would have been to put 'not really in a position to assess'.

Many thanks for your positive comments. It is always encouraging for staff to have good feedback and is a boost to morale.

Your comments will be passed on regarding the issues you have raised but I would like to assure you that this comment does not show any name, address or other private information apart from the comments you have made.

We do offer a service where a compliment/ comment card can be completed in the hospital and left in a locked box if you feel that would be a better option.

Patient’s comments are essential to the Trust in order for us to improve our services for all our users.
