"Helpful, efficient,approachable staff at all..."

What I liked

. My husband has been visiting many hospitals (Kings, St Barts, East Kent) over the last few years and in no other has every contact been welcoming, cheerful and efficient ...from the telephone operators to the secretaries, to the medical ,nursing and physiotherapy staff (as well as the many other people who form the team). He has attended the opthalmic Unit (corneoplasty) and facial pasy unit, had surgery under both departments both as an inpatient and an outpatient. Regular physiotherapy appointments also.

We hear too much negative criticism of NHS and not enough positive where praise is deserved.

What could be improved

The only issue we have ever had was facilities and contact with me while I was waiting for him to come out of surgery as an inpatient. I expressed my concerns about this at the time of his discharge and feel that staff appreciated the issue, although I had no actual reply from the written comments feedback form.
