"This is an excellent hospital and my shoulder..."

About: Spire Murrayfield Hospital

What I liked

The entrance was welcoming and very comfortable. All the staff were courteous and professional and always explained what was going to happen next.

Everything ran like clockwork very little time was spent waiting. This made me feel calm and confident that everything would be all right.

My room was lovely and comfortable with a garden view.

After my operation the staff were wonderful, checking on me regularly and reassuring me.

I really appreciated the jug of iced water in the night.

My breakfast tray looked lovely with very nice fruit and a welcome pot of tea.

Before I went home my surgeon called to explain how my shoulder operation had gone and he was pleased with the results, I was so happy and thankful. After breakfast, the physiotherapist visited my room to explain the exercise routine I would follow. Then the pharmacist called to give me my drugs and how I was to take them. I was ready to go home, it had been a very good experience, I was very pleased and relieved.

Anything else?

I am very grateful to all the staff who looked after me.
