On many occasions, I phone up to book an appointment only to be told I have to phone back the following morning to see if I can get an appointment then.
After explaining I would like to book an appointment, instead of phoning up every morning whilst I am supposed to be working, I am always told "you can no longer book appointments in advance".
I work 8 am until 4.30 pm and am unable to just leave work on the day for an appointment, which is why I need to book one in advance.
When I asked the reception staff what else I could do as I was in agony, I was simply told to go to a walk in at hospital (which I don't believe you should have to do when you have a doctor!).
On nearly every occasion I have had to just put up with my problem and go to a chemist instead, as I don't have time to sit in hospitals with a busy work schedule and home life.
I do like the doctors, but I just find it a battle every time I need an appointment!
