"Day surgery at a Nuffield Hospital "

Last week, I had surgery on my foot. I was a day case and I had very good care before and immediatley post op. The two phisios were satisfied with my walking and I was given my medication for my return home and at 2.30pm a nurse came and said she would discharge me but she was "tied up at the time". At 4 pm, I rang the bell. It continued to ring for 10 minutes before the ward sister came in, she apologising for the delay and asked where my nurse was. I was finally discharged by the sister at 4.45. I really felt quite neglected, even though the staff were busy, and I accept that, but I did think that my care could have been better and furthermore I wasn't offered a cup of tea during the afternoon.
