"Thanks to all on Tameside's Elective Surgery ward"

About: Tameside General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was a patient at the Tameside General elective surgery for the removal of gall stones. The ward on which I was situated was lovely, with a very friendly nursing team. The standard of care which I received was at all times very good.

Thanks to all on the elective surgery ward.

Thank you for your kind comments about your care and treatment in the Surgical Elective Facility (SEF) at Tameside General Hospital. I will, of course, pass your comments on to the unit. I was very pleased to read that the standard of care was so good – the staff will greatly appreciate this positive feedback. As you have not been specific about the members of staff involved I cannot pass on your comments directly to them. You may like to know that you can nominate staff who have given exceptionally good service for our “Show you care for those who care” or “Above and Beyond” awards. Details of both awards, as well as entry forms, are available on the hospital website and click on “Patient Information”.
