"A Routine DCR"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

Nothing exciting nor extraordinary happened. I was admitted to the Day Surgery Unit for a fairly routine, planned procedure. However, I do believe that our health service professionals come in for far too much adverse publicity and so want to publicly record my thanks and appreciation for the care, attention and consideration I received on the day.

This ran through from admission, explanation and preparation for the general anaesthetic, the procedure, recovery and eventual discharge.
