"Crisis team fail to help in a crisis"

My brother tried to take his life earlier this year. He was thankfully stopped and spent the night at Darent Valley hospital. When he was there he was placed under the local crisis team at Dartford and given a months worth of medication.

Fast forward to now my brother is no longer medicated due to him, the crisis team and every other team letting him down in my opinion. He has been passed from each team with promises of help but we're yet to actually receive any useful help. In these few months he's seen them all of 3 times. When he saw the staff they made promises to see him the next week or to call him but they never arrived or called. There have been times he has walked to the centre in the rain and the staff member had gone home without even cancelling the appointment.

It's not right to treat someone that way especially not a young man who's very low and also has additional needs. I've had my brother on the phone crying many times as in his words 'The team has ditched me, they don't care' . They made promises of helping him with housing, psychologists to see him but nothing has happened. I have called them, along with other family members, begging for help when he has been suicidal just to be told they can do nothing if he wont talk on the phone.

I rang the outreach team a few weeks ago, they refused to tell me what is going on but promised they would ring my brother, guess what, still no phone call.

My brother is homeless, depressed with an unpredictable mood which is making life hard for everyone. My nan is likely to end up homeless too as she is having to care for him although she's ill herself and barely able to care for herself due to disabilities.
