"Amazing staff and maternity care"

I had a bad experience at another hospital so decided to go with Good Hope hospital for my next birth. I am so glad I did.

The staff were amazing, always making sure you were looked after, nothing was too much trouble. When I stayed on the ward, as soon as I pressed my buzzer a midwife was there.

I had to stay in for 3 days 2 nights. The maternity ward was very clean and has 3 beds in each room. There is tea and coffee making facilities in a separate room which you could use any time of day and night, with biscuits and fresh fruit available. There was breakfast, lunch and dinner served at set times hot and cold.

Labour room was a nice size and clean. My midwife who was with me whilst labouring was amazing and I felt like she listened to me about what I wanted to do, so I felt in control making my birth a positive experience.

After the birth me and my mum and partner were left to bond with our baby and they got us some tea and toast with no plans on rushing us out.

Amazing experience, would recommend this hospital to anyone. Thank you so much to every midwife and doctor at Good Hope maternity xx.
