"Thank you for my nasal surgery"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

At the Day Surgery unit at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital I recently had surgery to remove nasal polyps which had been troubling me for over a year.

I was referred to the ENT department by my GP Dr Van der Merwe and had several visits and scans. There was a fairly long wait for surgery but the results have been well worth it.

The kindness, care and consideration shown at the Day Surgery unit was extraordinary at all stages. I registered at 0730 in the morning and was discharged at about 1600.

Well done to all involved and a big Thank You. A huge improvement to my quality of life.
