"Our experience of Continuous Care"

About: Waltham Forest PCT

(as a relative),

My father in law, was moved to a nursing home in August 2011. His dementia got worse and his needs increased. He was moved to another room where two carers now look after him. He has paid for his own care since being admitted but qualifies for continous care. The manager of the care home did an assessment and forwarded this to the PCT. We have been waiting for my father in law to be assessed since February and now the PCT are saying the District Nurse has to do the assessment. Everyone is passing the buck. Whos job is it really and how long should we have to wait
