"Thankful for the help."

About: Darent Valley Hospital

What I liked

Our little girl was brought to the hospital with a pulled elbow following an accident at school. We brought her to A&E and the paediatric triage nurse on duty, quickly recognised this and fixed it.

This is the second time it has happened to us(first case of pulled elbow was about 2 years ago), and deep inside when it happened the second time, I was hoping and praying that we might see the same nurse again. And we were overjoyed when we saw them again the second time. True to form, they sorted her out again this time.

The nurse is an asset to the hospital and we are extremely grateful to them for the help we've received.

Thank you for your lovely comments and we are pleased to hear that you and your daughter we very happy with the service we offered. At Darent Valley Hospital we run an "Every Thank You Counts" award scheme for our staff and if you would like to nominate the nurse who assisted you on both occasions please feel free to do so by visiting our website www.dvh.nhs.uk.

Many thanks
