In August I had a routine eye test at Specsavers Telford. It was discovered that there was high pressure behind my eyes
A few days later, I received a letter from Dr surgery saying that the Opticians had asked them to refer me, which they confirmed that they had done.
The week after, I has a phone call to ask where I would like my treatment- I opted for the earliest appointment, which was at Wolverhampton.
A few weeks later, I attended the eye infirmary Acute referral centre at New Cross Hospital. I am now awaiting confirmation of the findings, I also received TRAQS literature which was helpful.
This was a very quick and efficient service. If I need further treatment I would prefer to go to PRH or Shrewsbury Hospital but only because of the distance.
