"Great crews at Great Western Ambulance"

About: Emergency ambulance service (Gloucestershire)

(as a parent/guardian),

In July, when we were distressed parents with a sick child in the middle of the night, the ambulance crew calmed our fears over febrile convulsions - not once but twice on different nights. They were calm, professional, friendly and caring.

We had a similar story in October, when again our child was worryingly sick. Nathan and Sam really came to our rescue. Brilliant - and may they continue in the job they obviously enjoy.

We are only sorry we didn't ask for the names of our paramedics in July.

Dear Madalina,

Thank you for taking the time to share your views on our service.

We are delighted that our staff were able to provide care and reassure you at what must have been a worrying time. We know how anxious an illness to a child can be for parents and I am pleased that on both occasions everything turned out well for you.
