What I liked

speed and efficiency, politeness and caring interested staff. procedures were explained in considerable detail in a way that was easily understood.

What could be improved

it is easy to be over critical and find things that are not to ones liking but overall there is nothing that could really be improved that would have made any great difference to the outcome of my visit. only one minor point is that when curtains are pulled around a patient in bed it doesn't stop the conversation from being overheard from nearby beds.

Anything else?

i know using names is not the norm but would like to praise this surgeon's team, the nurses on the critical care department and the nurses and other staff on Shand ward, they have all made what was a somewhat scary and unpleasant experience easier, relaxed and bearable, thank you.
