What I liked

From walking in the door where the gentleman on reception guided me to St Michael's ward and wished me a comfortable stay to my departure, the service was excellent. Everyone introduced themselves and made sure I was comfortable with what was happening, they were all courteous and respectful but friendly. Watching the care of other patients showed that they had the same excellent standard for everyone.

I was only a day patient but the level of service - medically and personally was of the highest order. The nursing staff on the ward, one in particular and her colleagues, the catering & housekeeping staff, the theatre staff, everyone helped put me at ease and make the experience as easy as possible, whilst maintaining a professional standard at all times.

Whilst I hope not to make a return visit to hospital if possible..... I would definitely choose St Michael's or recommend it.
