What I liked

I was very impressed with my stay at Dewsbury hospital.

Having not stayed in hospital before in my 26 years, I wasn't sure what to expect. The stories that you hear aren't particularly good. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.

The nurses, doctors, anaesthatists and surgeons were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them in their bid to make me happy and comfortable. I was kept updated with everything that was going on and I felt a part of every decision that was taken.

The ward was very clean and the volunteer staff were nice and friendly.

I really can't speak highly enough of everyone involved in my stay. I do hope that this message gets back to ward 14 as I think the standard there was top notch.

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing. I enjoyed my stay, as much as you can enjoy a hospital stay!
