What I liked
Staff were very efficient and I felt that I was on a carefully diagnosis pathway at all times. I was seen to in a very appropriate time considering my illness and then symptoms.
Nursing staff were efficient and regular in their check up and monitoring of me and I was seen by a very competent and caring doctor within the hour of admission - I was updated frequently on the progress of my diagnosis and where and who I would be seeing next and roughly when (or at least where I was in line).
Staff were very patient, the doctors and consultants (of which I saw 2) were caring and took the time to explain what they were doing and were chatty and approachable.
Reception staff were brilliant.
What could be improved
Only really the seating in A&E, it is also very bright with daylight lighting - which is wonderful if you are well, but perhaps a darker corner would be nice! Variety of seating would be an improvement as some people were struggling with having to sit upright etc.
Anything else?
I would definitely feel in safe hands if admitted here for care.
"Brilliant. Efficient and caring staff and good..."
