My mother was a patient on Simpson 2 at the Nottingham City Hospital for treatment of bladder problems. As my mother was only in for 1 night (and I was not there all the time) I am unable to comment on many aspects of the hospital. However, I can say that I thought the ward was very depressing and outdated. i thought that the Nightingale wards were to be phased out by the NHS?
