What I liked
Nothing!!! There was a Docter in a&e who was nice and actually listen to how I felt!
What could be improved
Staff attitude needs major improvement! And more respect towards patients, were are human not just a number!
Anything else?
I attended A&E on TUesday morning I gave my details and reason to attend at reception And then told to wait. I was then 2 hours later called by a nurse who had the most poor bedside manner. After basic check told me to wait for Docter. I was then called 1 an half later by a very nice Docter. He asked me symptoms in detail and took time to listen to everything on how I was feeling and asked me how i felt with the care plan he thinks is best. The Docter kept me upto date with everything and kept checking on me if I needed anything. I was then later transferred on to a ward, and that's when the problems started! Fisrtly the portervery very rude and the nurse who went up to ward with me Just walked away without explaining anything to me left me on a ward full of strangers and just walked away! I then asked the nurse on the ward there as to what's going on and her reply was I don't know, just wait for Docter. Docter arrives F1,asked me eveything again and then updates his senior who then asks me symptoms I was feelin again! This senior Docter is a poor example to f1's. She paid no attention to what I was saying and completely made her own version of events, I then tried to correct her but she was having none of it she was just standing there with her arms folded and looking somewhere else paying no attention what so ever! And then walks away with her"made up" story!then puts it on my file I then complained to the f1 who same as me felt her manner was inappropriate and that I can take this complaint further. My experience was not a very good one at all I hate the way some Docters and nurses treat patients with no respect, the hospital itself was dirty and crammed. Next time I need to vist A&E I will make my way to a different hospital!!
"An extremely awful disgusting experience!!!"
