I recently had a hysterectomy in Ward 36 at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. I was really pleased with the care I got.

All the staff I came into contact with were lovely and made me feel nothing was too much trouble for them.

I was extremely scared when I arrived but luckily I was first on the list so didn't have long to hang about. My pain relief was properly dealt with at all times and I was regularly reminded that I could have more any time I needed it so that was not a problem.

My only real complaints were that the ward was very noisy at night but I do realise that most of it was unavoidable. Also the food was not too good but as I didn't have much appetite after my op that wasn't a problem for me.
