I was scheduled for a hearing test in September 2012, which detected slight to moderate hearing loss, but for some strange reason I wasn't seen by the doctor who has done an excellent job of listening about my condition and discussing the surgical procedures that could help with my symptoms.
Instead I was seen by a different doctor who claimed the results on the hearing test were inaccurate, and that my hearing was better than the results the test revealed - which to me doesn't sound very professional from someone who's meant to be an expert, and to add insult to injury put me on a three month waiting list.
