In November of last year, I was admitted to Ward G5 of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary for a hysterectomy. The standard of medical care which I received was good - the pain control was well monitored, and the nursing staff had a caring and kind attitude towards me.
However, there seemed to be a shortage of bedding - during the night it was particularly cold, but no blankets were available.
