About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

What I liked

was the amazing level of care provided to my wife and the very positive attitude of the nursing staff at all times - even towards the end of a long shift. All comments provided by patient's husband/carer.

What could be improved

On exiting, it would have been very helpful if I could have been given a copy list and timetable for all her medicines as I was unfamiliar with some of these.

Anything else?

Well done to all conected to Deal Ward - outstanding!

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your comments, I am delighted that you and your wife had a positive experience whilst visiting Deal Ward.

We are currently updating our discharge process so that when patients have tablets to take home there is a more robust explanation about what they are and when they need to be taken.

Thanks again, I will ensure your comments are passed on to the Deal Ward team.
