(as a parent/guardian),

Time taken to get much needed surgery resulting in my son loosing his job and accommodation due to the fact he could not pay his rent. I have just e mailed Henry Smith aboutthe situation as it is not acceptable.

We're sorry to hear of the distress caused to your son because of the delay to his surgery. We are treating over 90% of patients within 18weeks (the national target) and there may be clinical reasons why your son's surgery hasn't happened within this timescale but without knowing the details it is difficult to say for certain.
