What I liked

I had a procedure in the Women's Centre and found everybody, from the lovely lady Consultant I had never met before, to the person bringing around the cups of tea, extremely kind, courteous and efficient. No-one wants to be in hospital, so when the staff are like this, your stay is so much easier. Everything was explained clearly to me, both before and after my operation, including contact numbers available to me should I be worried about anything as I live out of the area. I was nervous going in, but that changed to confidence with the lovely attitude of all the staff.

I have been in many different hospitals over the last four years with an extremely sick relative, and wish that some of them had been more like the JR.

What could be improved

Did not receive the paperwork for my stay until 2 days before, and had to collect it from the sorting office and pay £1.50 as there wasn't any postage/franking on the envelope!
